National Center for Lesbian Rights provides a Legal Information Helpline as a service to all members of the LGBT community and allies. The Legal Information Helpline provides basic information about laws that affect LGBT people, including family law, and about resources available for people who are facing discrimination or other civil rights issues.
Outlet empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth ages 13-18 living on the Peninsula and South Bay through support services, leadership training, community education and advocacy.

Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter
The Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter offers short-term housing for runaway, homeless, and other troubled youth (ages 11-17). Individual, group, and family counseling is provided to restore family ties when possible, and to stabilize the lives of homeless youth to avoid victimization from street life.
The Drop-in Center in downtown San Jose helps homeless at-risk youth, ages 12 - 22, by providing basic necessities such as food, clothing, and personal hygiene items. The program also provides more comprehensive services including counseling, living skills training, job readiness training, housing assistance, health education (including HIV prevention) and links to other services, such as access to legal services and health care.
LACY Legal Advocates for Children & Youth
LACY provides free legal representation, advocacy, and information to minors in Santa Clara County, and educates several minors, parents, service providers, and attorneys on legal issues relevant to minors.
24-7 Line for Youth
A free hotline for youth ages 7-24, providing supportive listening, crisis intervention, and information and referrals. Youth may call the line ANYTIME FOR ANY REASON.
The Trevor Project operates the only accredited, nationwide, around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention helpline for LGBTQ youth.
National Runaway Switchboard
The National Runaway Switchboard gives help and hope to youth and their families by providing non-judgmental, confidential crisis intervention and local and national referrals through a 24-hour hotline.
Community United Against Violence (CUAV) works to build the power of LGBTQQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) communities to transform violence and oppression. We support the healing and leadership of those impacted by abuse and mobilize our broader communities to replace cycles of trauma with cycles of safety and liberation.
