About the LGBTQ Youth Space
Volunteer
Youth and Young Adult Volunteers are always welcome in the Youth Space. If you are between 13-and 25 we encourage you to join:
- Youth Events Committee: A social event planning group that meets every Tuesday from 5-6pm. There is no application or sign up needed to join this group.
- ShOut Group: Offers leadership, awareness and activist opportunities. We meet every Wednesday from 6-7pm. There is no application or sign up needed to join this group.
- Speakers Bureau: A group of speakers who share their stories as LGBTQ and ally people in schools, services organizations and other venues to educate the community about LGBTQ Youth issues. There is a training required to volunteer on Speakers Bureau. Please email Kristi Espinoza (Kristi@DeFrank.org) if you are interested to join.
